N B Liebman Furniture Showcase "Our Customers Speak For Us"

It all began in 1919……the first ever N.B.Liebman store opened in Center City, Philadelphia. In those days, we carried clothing, shoes, jewelry, appliances, carpeting, and linens in addition to furniture.

Then in 1946……N.B.Liebman Furniture came to Harrisburg and opened a full line store at 1312 Derry Street. We previously opened stores in nearby Lebanon and Schuykill Counties. Our Derry Street store was a great success, and to this day, many of our customers remind us of purchases they made at that location.

Then in 1969……we recognized the need to relocate to an up-to-date environment, and opened a showroom/warehouse building on the Carlisle Pike, Mechanicsburg, where we remain today! Our huge selection and on-hand inventory for instant delivery revolutionized furniture shopping in Central Pennsylvania!

Finally in 1983……..our growing East Shore customer base demanded an N.B.Liebman location closer to home. So we opened for business on Jonestown Road, Colonial Park. Rapid development followed on that stretch of road, and our East Shore location now sits among some of the nation’s most prominent retailers!

As a current member of the $300 million dollar Style Trend Buying Group, we can assure our customers of guaranteed low prices, and the finest quality merchandise, from around the world. In addition, as a member of the National Home Furnishings Association, we abide by the standards of excellence set nationally.

Based on a recent consumer poll, by the American Opinion Research group, N.B.Liebman has been named the Most Recognized Furniture Dealer in the Harrisburg market. We have also received numerous awards from organizations and media, for our continuous participation in Community Service, as exemplified by our continued presence in the Central Pennsylvania ‘ABC Extreme Makeover’. N.B.Liebman, in addition, has twice been nominated as ‘Retailer Of The Year’, by the Tri-State HFA. Presently, we continue to improve our merchandise presentation, with an addition to our Colonial Park store, and updates to our Mechanicsburg showroom.

Today…..we proudly serve smart shoppers on the East and West Shores, from Carlisle to York, to Lebanon, and as far away as State College and Gettysburg.
